Ari Rodriguez Boog, AIA

With almost 30 years of experience in commercial and industrial projects, I have developed a solid mastery of architecture, including a deep understanding of building codes and life safety requirements in several countries. I have managed the architectural discipline for multiple complex projects and project teams, and have produced different project delivery methods, including design-build, design-bid build and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects.

I have developed outstanding leadership skills. I have been an asset to every corporation for which I have worked, and have challenged myself to produce outstanding quality work, while making myself a better professional after every project or assignment. I have created and participated in the creation of an architectural section business unit, along with many corporate procedures, including facility design, life safety, means of egress, fixed ladders and fireproofing.

I have earned the respect of my peers and direct reports due to my technical knowledge, caring attitude, dedication and positive approach to the daily challenges of the work I do. It is with this expertise and sense of team work that I transition into business ownership: to bring the same quality work with some additional benefits to my clients.

Design Manager

Michele Dawson

I am an experienced Design Manager; I have worked in the industrial side of the architecture and engineering industry for over 12 years. I spent 8 of those years designing nuclear power plants; I was a Designer Team Leader on nuclear projects, coordinating design drawings and project documentation, which included model and drawing creation, “piloting” modeling standards in new software, writing guides to help other designers and addressing design coordination matters with other design disciplines.

I worked for a large engineering company as the Lead Architectural Technician, responsible for modeling and processes for design deliverables. I set the architectural modeling and drawing standards and conducted timely training for architectural designers in house and across the world, including India, Thailand and China. My typical work load has included the coordination of architectural modeling and drawing deliverables for 12 to 22 projects simultaneously. I worked on projects for a variety of engineering and architectural teams; such work included all aspects of projects, from conceptual design to ready-for-construction documentation, as well as record drawings.

I joined Archifootprint in April 2018, and today I am responsible for the supervision, mentoring and training other architectural designers in my firm. I assist in hiring other professionals and work on establishing building layouts, elevations, building penetrations, roof drainage and any other components of the building design, and help prepare building details and renderings of industrial and commercial buildings, under the supervision of a registered architect.

I am a registered architect in the State of Michigan, as well as Greece. I attended the University of Michigan, where I obtained a Master of Architecture degree with emphasis in community design. I have worked in the field of architecture for over 25 years, for offices in the United States and abroad, and have always expressed great passion for environmentally sustainable design practices.

I have been Project Architect on a variety of projects ranging from industrial and transportation (subway train structures) to commercial and institutional projects, including office-tenant improvements, college buildings, hospitals, hotel and conference centers, churches and housing. When working on a major Greek Cultural Center, I had the privilege of collaborating with international teams between Europe and the United States. I am currently the Architecture Studio Lead at Archifootprint, and I am responsible for leading and reviewing the technical content of architectural design and construction documents for all our projects.

Executive Assistant

Barbara A. McGuire

After completing high school, I enlisted in the United States Air Force, where I served for 20 years. I was first as a Munitions Systems Specialist; then a Signal Intelligence Analyst.

Upon exiting the military, I became a Conference Support Specialist, assisting Fortune 500 companies with all types of Conference Calls. Two and a half years later, I was promoted to a Customer Experience Manager position in the Sales Department, at a competitor. Three and a half years later I became Senior Customer Experience Manager and continued until the company closed that office.

I joined Archifootprint as Executive Assistant, in June 2018. I am responsible for assisting the CEO, Design Manager, and Studio Lead. I also manage the book-keeping, support invoicing, and day to day office needs. I am learning about architecture and construction, which is a totally new industry to me. I love learning new things every day.
